Every morning I walk into a classroom and teach young minds. I am surrounded by opportunity, by resources, by people who believe in the power of education. And then I think of the millions who never get that chance — not because they lack the intelligence or the will, but simply because they were born into the wrong circumstances. That realisation changed me. I could not sit in my privilege and do nothing. Desi Revival was born from that discomfort — from the belief that those of us who have been given much have a responsibility to give back. If selling a beautiful kurta can send one child to school, then every pop-up shop, every late night, every effort is worth it.

As an entrepreneur, I have always understood the power of small actions compounding into something extraordinary. I built my business from the ground up — and through that journey, I learned that success feels hollow when it only serves yourself. Growing up, I saw what financial hardship does to a family — the sleepless nights, the impossible choices between medicine and food. I carry those memories with me. Desi Revival is my way of using what I have built — my network, my business instincts, my love for Indian culture — to create real, tangible change.
